Going through this process and connecting it with everything that is goin on in the world right now has made me VERY thoughtful. I continue to try to see another perspective. To remain open and to not get caught up in the "rightness" of my position that I can't be open to new thoughts, points of view or facts.

That's a wonderful mindset to have! Being open-minded and willing to consider different perspectives is essential for personal growth and fostering understanding in a diverse world. It's easy to play rainbow friends and get caught up in our own beliefs and views, but actively seeking out alternative viewpoints and being receptive to new information can lead to greater empathy and a broader understanding of the world around us.
