Mary Edith Alexander 8/28/2020 9:02 AMI appreciated the content on the learning about food deserts tab. The article "Just Deserts: 6 Ways to Bring Good Food to Poor Neighborhoods …" by Sarah Parsons was very good. It also took me to a tab about the Detroit Incubator Project where there is a huge problem with access to food for the residents. The statistic is there are 10 grocery stores for every 100,000 people. As a comparison, San Francisco boasts 40 grocery stores for every 100,000 residents. I used to live in the Detroit area and understand this from my experience of the city. I am so glad to know the good work that is being done to help the residents of this city & many others. I am going to continue to follow this topic closely. -
